Is it Magic? It’s Freezing!

I know a little elf who can make things happen.

Really!

With one wave of his magic wand  he can even make it snow!

Think I’m kidding?

@SelfieontheShelfie, our little sprite and the mascot for Freezing, Bigger Bolder Colder has been out and about in Ottawa, making magic and sharing his impish smile with everyone.

Think the snow on Monday was an accident? I don’t think so, our little elf made it happen.

And he’ll be doing many more tricks around town, watch for him and the Freezing-Mobile everywhere.

Want to see more magic. You bet!

Next month @SelfieontheShelfie will be at the Gladstone Theatre to welcome everyone to the second annual performance of Ottawa’s newest holiday tradition… Freezing, Bigger Bolder Colder.

The Blizzard of Oz and OttawaMusicals.com

Let the winter games begin!

We are putting all the ice pieces together for our upcoming Panto that will take place at The Gladstone Theatre in Ottawa’s Little Italy from January 4th – January 8th 2017. This year we are bringing The Nation’s Capital a brand new story – The Blizzard of Oz.

There really is no place like home. Our heroine, Dottie, gets lost in a snow storm and ends up in a strange land. Along the way she meets Bob Cat, Al Loy and The Faircrow. Lost in the big city, they get help from Glenda the Good. Dottie just wants to see Auntie Hem and her dog, Otto again. But first she must stop Wanda the Wicked from taking over the Ruby Slipper Cafe. You will be over the rainbow with this year’s all new family musical.

We are very proud to be bringing a new production to life during the holidays and hope you will join us with your family and friends.

If you would like to partner with our production please reach out to us at Mail@OttawaMusicals.com

That car looks Sick!

Haven’t you always wanted to say “Driver, follow that car…!”

This beauty is definitely the car to follow in our city.

You heard me right. The Freezing…Bigger, Bolder Colder car has hit the streets of our capital and Ottawa, you’re going to be seeing us in a lot of places. Just last week we participated in the Santa’s Toy Parade in Ottawa.

The Freezing-mobile is impossible to miss. It is emblazoned with “Freezing…Bigger, Bolder Colder”, and features our very own @selfieontheshelfie smiling at you from three sides. We’ve also featured the logos of our partners across the back and sides of the car. Easy for everyone to see who is supporting this production.

Freezing! Community coming at ya.

Matt and Sarah Cassidy, and the sweet sprite @SelfieontheShelfie know that everyone loves a fun family musical.

I mean, seriously, who doesn’t?!

That’s why when Freezing – Bigger, Bolder… Colder comes back to perform at the Gladstone Theatre (December 18 to January 3), more families who may not have had an opportunity to attend a musical performance have been invited to come with their kids to hiss at the bad guys and cheer on the heroes.

For the second year in a row, we have thrown the doors of the Gladstone open to many Ottawa agencies and charities so that they can enjoy this imaginative family musical.

In addition to popping up all around town to surprise people, our team from Freezing – Bigger, Bolder… Colder have also been helping charities and events to liven things up. Friday we were at the Children’s Aid Foundation of Ottawa’s #WorldTrivia Night, and just yesterday we were thrilled to march in the 2015 Ottawa Santa Claus parade. We were happy to meet people and share some smiles and good spirits.

18 Performances & one little Elf

What has a Snow Monster, an Ice Man, and two sisters with songs in their hearts?

Give up?

It’s Freezing Bigger, Bolder… Colder!

With 18 performances in less than 18 days the cast and crew led by our little elf, @SelfieontheShelfie brings magic to Ottawa with its fantastic costumes, original music and delightful scenery. Young and old will enjoy the witty script. In fact Freezing is one of the best reasons to brave the coldness of Ottawa in December. This is what one member of the audience had to say about last year’s performance …

“A wonderful production that was enjoyed by three generations of our family (from 3 to 83!) Freezing warmed our hearts! Thank you!” -S. Huxley

Did I mention a Snow Monster? Well yes I did.

@SelfieontheShelfie turned his magic wand on him today. What happened?

You’ll have to stay connected with #FreezingMusical to see.
